Porsche Audi Volkswagen of Anchorage is a multi-brand luxury store serving one of Alaska's most active automotive markets. Every vehicle that leaves this store -- new delivery, post-service return, or pre-owned frontline unit -- is expected to be clean and presentation-ready. The Detail Technician is the last set of hands on that vehicle before the guest sees it, and at a luxury store, that standard is non-negotiable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform thorough interior and exterior detail work on new, pre-owned, and service vehicles -- hand washes, clay bar treatment, paint decontamination, interior deep cleaning, leather conditioning, and surface protection as required

• Prepare new vehicle deliveries -- ensuring every vehicle is spotless, correctly staged, and presentation-ready before it reaches the guest

• Recondition pre-owned and trade-in vehicles -- bringing interiors and exteriors to frontline-ready condition efficiently and accurately

• Perform post-service vehicle cleaning -- returning service guests' vehicles clean and presentable after every visit

• Move vehicles carefully between the detail bay, service lane, and lot as directed

• Inspect vehicles during the detail process and immediately flag any paint, interior, or body concerns to the appropriate team member

• Maintain the detail bay clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout the shift

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of automotive detailing experience preferred -- candidates with comparable experience from auto body, recon, car wash, or other hands-on vehicle preparation backgrounds are encouraged to apply

• Consistent and thorough -- luxury vehicles require a higher standard of finish and guests notice the difference between a good detail and a rushed one

• Self-directed and efficient on flat rate -- detail work rewards technicians who work at a steady, accurate pace without sacrificing quality

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
