OPX Specialist
Description

  

The Operations Specialist plays a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant business operations. This role involves analyzing workflows, optimizing processes, coordinating cross-functional activities, and supporting operational excellence (OPX) initiatives to meet organizational goals.

  • Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and operational procedures.
  • Track, analyze, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, efficiency, downtime, cost, and quality to support project decision-making.
  • Lead root cause analysis initiatives using structured problem-solving methodologies and manage corrective action projects to address process and performance gaps.
  • Conduct analytical studies such as cycle time analysis, process capability analysis, and workflow assessments to support project recommendations.
  • Develop standardized project documentation, including process maps, operating procedures, project plans, and improvement roadmaps.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure timely execution of initiatives, risk mitigation, and alignment with lean and operational excellence principles.
  • Support supply chain coordination projects for selected parts to ensure continuity of operations and project deliverables.
  • Manage cost-reduction, waste elimination, and throughput-improvement projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, reports, and visual management tools to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of project performance and implement corrective actions to meet defined objectives.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and provide timely solutions.
Requirements

  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and business software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
  • Familiarity with operational compliance and risk management.

Work Environment

  • Full-time position with occasional extended hours during peak periods.

· May require limited travel for training, audits, or cross-site coordination.
