About TM International
TM International is a global manufacturer of temporary and semi-permanent tattoos, producing custom, skin-applied printed products for brands, retailers, licensors, promotional distributors, agencies, and other OEM partners. With decades of manufacturing expertise, TM International delivers USA-made products, custom print capabilities, premium finishes, responsive lead times, and a strong commitment to product quality, safety, and compliance.
The company’s OEM and contract-manufacturing business supports customers that need a trusted manufacturing partner for custom printed transfers, branded products, licensed merchandise, promotional items, beauty-related applications, toys, and consumer-facing programs. This role will be instrumental in expanding TM International’s presence throughout the Western United States.
Position Summary
The OEM Sales Manager — Western United States is responsible for driving new business, building strategic customer relationships, and growing revenue across TM International’s OEM, contract-print, and custom-manufacturing channels.
This is a highly consultative outside-sales role for an experienced business-development professional with a strong background selling custom-manufactured products. The ideal candidate understands how to sell into complex customer environments where product quality, speed to market, design execution, compliance, manufacturing capabilities, pricing, and production timelines all influence the buying decision.
The successful candidate will bring direct sales experience in one or more of the following industries:
· Printing, custom print, packaging, labels, transfers, or other printed products
· Manufacturing, contract manufacturing, OEM production, or custom product development
· Beauty, cosmetics, personal care, skin-applied products, or related consumer-product categories
· Toy, novelty, collectible, licensed merchandise, or children’s-product manufacturing and sales
· Promotional products, branded merchandise, licensing, entertainment, retail, event marketing, or consumer packaged goods
The OEM Sales Manager will work remotely while traveling extensively throughout the Western United States to visit customers, attend trade shows, develop distributor and agency relationships, and identify new OEM opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute a territory sales strategy for OEM, contract print, custom-manufacturing, and branded-product opportunities across the Western United States.
· Identify, prospect, qualify, and close new business with brands, retailers, agencies, distributors, manufacturers, licensing partners, promotional-product companies, beauty brands, toy companies, and consumer-product organizations.
· Build and manage a strategic pipeline of target accounts, including opportunities in beauty, cosmetics, personal care, toys, novelty products, licensed merchandise, entertainment, CPG, promotional products, retail, and event marketing.
· Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through product consultation, quote development, sample review, negotiation, purchase-order receipt, production coordination, and account growth.
· Sell TM International’s differentiated manufacturing capabilities, including USA-made production, custom printing, premium finishes, product safety, compliance support, responsive lead times, and flexible order quantities.
· Partner with customers to translate creative concepts, brand objectives, packaging needs, licensing requirements, and product specifications into manufacturable solutions.
· Collaborate closely with internal prepress, art, operations, production, customer service, compliance, and leadership teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated and fulfilled.
· Develop pricing, quotes, and proposals that support profitable growth while remaining responsive to customer requirements and market conditions.
· Maintain a strong focus on quote turnaround, customer follow-up, project timelines, and pipeline movement to prevent opportunities from stalling.
· Build long-term relationships that result in repeat orders, annual programs, product-line expansions, and strategic account growth.
· Represent TM International at regional and national trade shows, customer meetings, industry events, distributor presentations, and account reviews.
· Maintain accurate CRM records, including account activity, contacts, opportunities, forecasts, quotes, sales-stage updates, and next steps.
· Monitor market trends, customer feedback, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within printing, manufacturing, beauty, toys, licensing, promotions, and consumer products.
· Protect channel relationships and support clear account ownership, lead registration, pricing discipline, and coordination across OEM, distributor, and direct-to-consumer sales channels.
Required Qualifications
· 7+ years of successful B2B sales, business development, account management, or territory-management experience.
· Demonstrated experience selling within a printing, manufacturing, OEM, custom-product, promotional-products, beauty, toy, novelty, licensed-merchandise, packaging, or related industry.
· Proven ability to develop new business and close complex sales opportunities involving customized products, multiple stakeholders, production requirements, and extended sales cycles.
· Experience selling to one or more of the following customer groups: brands, retailers, distributors, agencies, manufacturers, licensing organizations, promotional-product companies, beauty companies, toy companies, CPG organizations, or entertainment-related businesses.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing sales processes, including product specifications, artwork or prepress coordination, samples, production timelines, minimum order quantities, pricing, quoting, and purchase-order management.
· Ability to communicate the value of quality, compliance, speed, domestic manufacturing, customization, and dependable service rather than competing solely on price.
· Consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover customer needs, recommend solutions, overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and build trusted executive-level relationships.
· Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools to manage opportunities, forecasts, account activity, and performance metrics.
· Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40–60% throughout the Western United States, including customer visits, trade shows, distributor meetings, and industry events.
· Must be based in the Western United States and able to work effectively in a remote, results-driven sales environment.
Preferred Qualifications
· Existing relationships with Western U.S. brands, retailers, promotional-product distributors, licensing companies, experiential agencies, beauty companies, toy manufacturers, or consumer-product organizations.
· Experience selling products that involve safety, quality, regulatory, or compliance requirements.
· Background in FDA-regulated, CPSIA-related, Prop 65-related, cosmetic, children’s-product, or consumer-product compliance environments.
· Experience working with licensed brands, entertainment properties, character programs, or royalty-bearing merchandise.
· Experience in trade-show selling and lead generation through industry events.
· Familiarity with CPQ tools, virtual proofing, digital artwork workflows, sales forecasting, and margin-based pricing.

· Deliver responsive communication, timely quote follow-up, and strong coordination with internal production and customer-service teams.
