Part-Time Customer Order Entry Specialist

Location: Tucson, AZ (Onsite)
Schedule: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week; flexible days with weekend availability

Position Summary

The Part-Time Customer Order Entry Specialist supports daily order entry and order management operations for California Tattoos & Promotional Products. This role is responsible for accurately entering, reviewing, tracking, and updating customer orders while coordinating with internal teams to keep fulfillment moving smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working with computer systems, and able to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy. This position is onsite in Tucson, Arizona, for up to 20 hours per week.

California Tattoos & Promotional Products is the promotional products division of Tattoo Manufacturing International (TMI), a Tucson-based manufacturer with more than 30 years of experience producing custom temporary tattoos and promotional products in the United States. Our team creates custom temporary tattoos, coasters, scratch-off cards, fan banners, activity kits, and other promotional items for distributors, resellers, brands, and commercial partners. Our brand is built on creativity, quality, and American-made manufacturing. From custom designs to high-volume production, we help businesses and organizations bring their ideas to life through fun, memorable, skin-safe promotional products. This is an order entry position supporting California Tattoos in Tucson, Arizona. The Customer Order Entry Specialist will work directly with the California Tattoos team to accurately process and manage customer orders in a fast-paced production environment.


Key Responsibilities

Order Processing & Management

· Enter and process incoming customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.

· Review order details for completeness, accuracy, and correct routing into ERP and fulfillment systems.

· Track orders from entry through production and shipment to support timely fulfillment.

· Identify and resolve order discrepancies, data-entry errors, and system sync issues.

· Monitor order queues and address exceptions that require manual follow-up.

Returns & Order Adjustments

· Process returns, refunds, replacements, cancellations, and order modifications according to company policies.

· Investigate order-related issues and ensure updates are accurately reflected across systems.

· Maintain organized and accurate records of order adjustments and exceptions.

Operational Support

· Monitor fulfillment status and system alerts to identify potential delays or issues.

· Escalate order or system issues as needed to support timely resolution.

· Communicate order status and exceptions with customer service, fulfillment, and operations teams.

· Help identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve order entry workflows.


Requirements

 

Qualifications

Required

· 1–3 years of experience in order entry, order management, customer operations, or eCommerce support.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume order processing.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

· Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.


Preferred

· Experience with ERP or order management systems.

· Familiarity with fulfillment and shipping workflows.

· Understanding of eCommerce, ERP, and fulfillment system integrations.

· Experience with Shopify or a similar eCommerce platform is a plus.

This role is part-time, onsite, and up to 20 hours per week. Days are flexible, with an option to work weekends. This position is not benefits eligible.
