About The Role
The Construction Project Manager oversees the progress and successful completion of construction projects remotely, making sure they are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict accordance with project drawings, specifications, and contractual agreements.
This is a fully remote, offshore role covering project planning, scope development, specifications and drawing preparation, material and equipment procurement, and contract preparation and administration. The Project Manager evaluates project specifications to develop procedures, timelines, and staffing requirements, and manages budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, and overall project control. All coordination with on-site teams, subcontractors, owners, and design professionals is conducted virtually through digital communication platforms.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute pre-job plans for each assigned project
- Conduct weekly virtual staff meetings and production meetings by video conference
- Maintain the project schedule, including a 2 to 3 week look ahead, and develop a recovery schedule as needed
- Manage all vendors and subcontractors daily and weekly, identifying and resolving issues as they arise
- Track and manage subcontractor scopes, flagging potential gaps before they affect the schedule
- Award subcontractor and major material supplier contracts and purchase orders
- Process and administer all submittals and samples
- Prepare change orders and change order estimates, and manage contract changes across prime and subcontract agreements
- Manage overall project scheduling and material expediting
- Maintain cost control and produce project financial and schedule status reports for upper management
- Process owner and subcontractor pay requests and collections, with support from the assigned Project Accountant
- Coordinate directly with owners, architects, engineers, and other design team members
- Administer quality control and quality assurance on assigned projects
- Administer the project safety plan
- Maintain client relationships and deliver professional construction services
- Estimate change orders, assist the Estimating Department with project estimates, and perform value engineering when assigned
- Manage project closeout and provide final construction cost information to the Estimating Department
- Perform other duties as directed by management
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a project manager who can hold a job together from a distance: someone who keeps subcontractors accountable, spots schedule and scope problems early, and communicates clearly across time zones without needing to be in the room.
Specifically, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has a proven record of meeting deadlines on commercial or multifamily projects
- Communicates and presents clearly, both in writing and on video
- Builds working relationships across a range of personalities, including owners, architects, and subcontractors
- Works independently and stays visible and responsive without on-site supervision
- Brings sound judgment to scope gaps, change orders, and cost exposure
- Is disciplined about documentation, keeping logs, submittals, and approvals current in the project platform
- Is comfortable running a job through digital tools rather than from the field
What We Offer:
- Competitive compensation
- Fully remote work with a consistent, long-term project assignment
- Direct involvement in active commercial and multifamily construction projects across the ITEX portfolio
- Professional development and growth opportunities

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial or multifamily construction project management or coordination experience
- Demonstrated success managing construction projects remotely
- Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and Yardi
