Description

CNC MACHINIST JOBS AVAILABLE

FULL AND PART TIME FOR:

SETUP PERSON : CNC MACHINING CENTER and LATHE

JOB DESCRIPTION CNC SETUP PERSON AND OPERATOR:

To setup and/or operate medium size vertical & horizontal machining centers.

Setup and/or operate CNC lathes.


DUTIES of SETUP PERSON:

· Setup and operate using work orders, drawings and programs.

· Optimize and troubleshoot machining processes

· Run precision production jobs, train operators to run the jobs that you setup

· Inspect precision work. Basic preventative machine maintenance


DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR OPERATORS:

· Duties are to productively operate CNC machining centers or lathes.

· Operators to be capable of operating the machines, making offsets, monitoring and changing cutting tools, understanding blueprints and work instructions, and measuring precision parts using indicators, mics, and the like.

· Steady work habits and attention to details are key.

Shift: First and Second.

Pay: Starting at $22 per hour up to $30+.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SETUP POSITIONS:

· Be capable of complex setups with minimal assistance. (3 and 4 axis for milling)

· A minimum of 3 years setup experience. To read & edit programs. Fanuc/Yasnac controls

· To understand blueprints, geometric tolerances and basic machine shop math
