Your role
Bring your curiosity to work as our Talent Acquisition Specialist. You will be part of our People & Culture team reporting to our People & Culture Manager at LACO Technologies. In this role, your mission is to serve as the dedicated recruiter for the USA Scientific Vacuum Division (SVD), supporting Gamma Vacuum, Montana Instruments, and LACO Technologies. This role partners with business leaders and hiring managers across all three organizations to develop and execute strategic recruiting initiatives that attract, engage, and hire top talent.
Your day-to-day
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders across LACO Technologies, Gamma Vacuum, and Montana Instruments, to identify workforce requirements, establish recruiting strategies, and attract qualified candidates that align with organizational objectives.
- Manage all aspects of the recruitment process including requisition creation, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer coordination, pre-employment activities, and onboarding support to ensure successful hiring outcomes.
- Develop and maintain robust talent pipelines for technical, engineering, manufacturing, operations, sales, service, and professional positions across the USA SVD businesses to support current and future hiring needs.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, employee referrals, professional organizations, universities, technical schools, trade schools, networking events, and talent communities to identify and attract top talent.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, technical colleges, trade schools, and workforce development organizations to create sustainable talent pipelines, support workforce planning initiatives, and increase awareness of career opportunities within the organization.
- Design, implement, coordinate, and oversee internship, co-op, apprenticeship, and early-career development programs across LACO Technologies, Gamma Vacuum, and Montana Instruments to develop future talent and support succession planning.
- Serve as an ambassador for the USA SVD businesses by representing the organization at career fairs, university recruiting events, industry conferences, community events, STEM initiatives, workforce development programs, and networking opportunities to strengthen employer brand awareness.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, workforce trends, and hiring data to improve talent acquisition effectiveness, reduce time-to-fill, enhance candidate quality, improve the candidate experience, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with applicable employment laws, affirmative action requirements, equal employment opportunity guidelines, Atlas Copco policies, and recruiting best practices while maintaining accurate records within applicable systems.
- Collaborate with HR teams, business leaders, educational institutions, staffing partners, and external organizations to support workforce planning, succession planning, internship programs, leadership development initiatives, and organizational growth.
Your skills and experience
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Relevant Previous Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, technical, skilled trades, operations, and professional positions preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-site organizations preferred.
- Experience developing internship, co-op, apprenticeship, or university recruiting programs preferred.
Knowledge Areas / Skills
- Knowledge of recruiting platforms and sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience utilizing SuccessFactors or similar ATS and HRIS platforms.
- Strong understanding of employment law, recruitment compliance, and affirmative action requirements.
- Ability to develop long-term talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supporting recruiting needs across multiple locations and business functions.
- Knowledge of labor market trends and talent acquisition best practices.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities.

Your compensation and benefits
Compensation:
$87,000 - $90,000 annually
