Shift Differential: Additional shift differential pay is available for eligible Afternoon and Weekend Shift hours.
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate (Order Picking & Kitting) is responsible for accurately picking, organizing, staging, and kitting materials to support production, project, and customer requirements. This position plays an important role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that materials are available when and where they are needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Work Schedules available:
Days - Mon - Fri 6:00am - 3:30pm (Every other Friday off)
Afternoon shift - Mon - Thurs 3:00pm - 1:30am
Weekend shift - Fri - Sun 5:00am - 5:30pm
Essential Functions - Other Duties May Be Assigned.
- Pick materials, parts, and components according to work orders, pick lists, and production requirements.
- Assemble and organize material kits using bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, drawings, and other documentation.
- Verify part numbers, descriptions, quantities, revisions, and other required information to ensure accurate picks and kits.
- Stage completed kits and materials in designated areas for production, projects, shipping, or other internal customers.
- Identify and report material shortages, damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, or incorrect parts.
- Perform required inventory transactions in the company’s ERP or warehouse management system, including material issues and transfers.
- Maintain accurate inventory locations and assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other authorized material-handling equipment.
- Prioritize picking and kitting activities according to production schedules, project requirements, and operational needs.
- Move and deliver materials between warehouse, production, staging, and shipping areas while following established safety and warehouse procedures.

Punctual. Maintains regular and consistent job attendance. Maintains a safe working environment established by Intermountain Electronics, safety guidelines. Willing to work overtime when necessary. Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand shipping and receiving documents, work instructions, invoices, bills of lading, manifests, and related documentation.
- Basic math skills, including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic freight or shipping calculations.
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational, problem-solving, and inventory-control skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with coworkers, vendors, supervisors, and other departments.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP systems such as EPICOR, and inventory-tracking software.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and OSHA forklift certification.
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods, including shifts of up to 10 hours or more.
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 20 lbs., regularly lift up to 50 lbs., and occasionally move up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to safely work around moving equipment and varying warehouse conditions while following all company safety policies and procedures.
