What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to:

  • Provide quality physical therapy treatments according to established care plans
  • Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence
  • Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families and other members of the care team
  • Document patient care accurately and timely
  • Educate patients, families and staff regarding therapeutic programs and safety
  • Participate as an important member of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team

What We're Looking For

  • Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, dependable and patient-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative therapy team
  • New graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply!
