University Physicians Association is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Patient Service Rep position at University Internal Medicine and Integrative Health (Located within the UT Medical Center). Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines in a very fast-paced office. This position will work closely with the physician to provide a seamless patient experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in friendly and timely manner
  • Ensure that patients complete necessary forms required for the electronic health record and billing office
  • Maintain patient demographic and insurance information; Collect payments
  • Ensures good patient flow through practice by timely processing of patients as they arrive at front office
  • Answer patient inquiries regarding patient registration information or billing questions
  • Refers patient inquiries regarding medical care or treatment to the physician
  • Schedules patients with appropriate physician
  • Document scanning into electronic health record
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent multitasking, time management, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • At least 6 months of experience in a medical office setting
  • In addition to traditional clinical responsibilities, this role also includes a significant amount of office-based work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting both patient care and administrative functions such as tracking metrics, managing documentation, and assisting with workflow coordination.
