Now Hiring: Staffing and Central Supply Clerk Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)


About the Role

 The CNA Staffing and Resource Coordinator is a CNA-certified leadership position responsible for supporting the effective staffing and resource management of the nursing department. This role assists with coordinating staffing coverage based on resident census, department needs, and budget requirements, while ensuring adequate supplies are available and utilized efficiently. The position works closely with nursing leadership to promote appropriate staffing levels, maintain operational efficiency, and support the delivery of safe, consistent, and high-quality resident care. 


Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30a - 5:00pm (On-Call, and Floor Coverage Required)


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain daily and monthly nursing schedules to ensure appropriate staffing coverage based on census and facility needs.
  • Coordinate staffing-related calls, employee scheduling concerns, and written communications with staff.
  • Ensure newly hired employees receive appropriate schedules prior to orientation and assist with staffing onboarding needs.
  • Review, accurately code, and approve orders in On Care while ensuring required documentation and reports are completed and maintained.
  • Monitor, coordinate, and maintain adequate inventory of nursing supplies and equipment to support department needs.
  • Process, organize, store, and distribute routine and emergency supplies and equipment in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide and oversee resident care as directed by the Charge Nurse, including assistance with ADLs, hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and hydration.
  • Follow individualized Plans of Care and promptly report changes in residents’ condition, including skin concerns, pressure areas, or other significant observations.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment while assisting with restorative activities and responding promptly to resident needs.
