Role: The Online Branch Personal Banker delivers exceptional member service while strengthening member relationships through Blaze products and services. This position opens and maintains accounts, provides financial guidance, supports lending and referral activities, and proactively engages members through inbound and outbound interactions. Success in this role is measured through member satisfaction, Net Promoter Score (NPS), retention, relationship growth, and achievement of sales and service goals.
Job Type: Full-time, on-site at our Minneapolis office in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- · Open and process changes for savings, checking, and certificate accounts.
- · Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met when assisting members.
- · Establish new memberships and maintain existing member relationships.
- · Assist members via digital channels (web chat, email, secure messaging).
- · Respond to member inquiries and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
- · Demonstrate and support digital banking services and self-service tools.
- · Identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services.
- · Create a member-centric experience through personalized service and financial solutions.
- · Conduct outbound calls and other outreach activities to members who may benefit from additional products and services.
- · Serve as a primary point of contact for members throughout the loan process, as applicable.
- · Review member financial information and credit reports when appropriate to identify additional opportunities that improve member financial well-being.
- · Meet or exceed established sales, referral, service, and NPS performance goals.
- · Maintain strong knowledge of Blaze products, services, promotions, and marketing materials.

- · Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control

Experience/Education/Certifications/Licenses
- · Minimum High School degree or equivalent
- · Minimum 1 – 2 years of similar or related experience
Demonstrated Knowledge
- · Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- · Skill of selling, including the ability to identify member's needs to explain features and benefits of Blaze services and to close sales opportunities; able to advise and refer
- · Well organized, efficient, detail-oriented and able to work independently or on a team
Communication Skills
Ability to proactively respond to members/staff to problem solve based on guidelines; written communications are based on templates but can be modified
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal staff and public on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 20 lbs.
Weekly schedule includes Saturday hours.

Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $25.20 -$29.50/hour. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
