Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)

We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department in a skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for the overall management of rehabilitation services, including clinical oversight, team leadership, regulatory compliance, and program growth. 

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and department performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes.
• Support census growth and identify residents who can benefit from therapy services.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

1. Current PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA license.
2. Previous rehabilitation leadership experience preferred.
3. Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience strongly preferred.
4. Strong clinical, operational, and communication skills.
