We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Equipment Operator Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in equipment operation within a supportive and safety-conscious environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced equipment operators in the safe and efficient operation of construction and industrial machinery
- Learn to perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
- Support the team in preparing work sites, including setting up equipment and materials
- Observe and learn proper operating techniques and best practices from senior staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interest in machinery operation and construction or industrial work
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good physical condition and stamina to perform manual tasks
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to learn safety standards
- Reliable, responsible, and eager to develop new skills
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to follow safety protocols.
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Willingness to travel to different job sites across the U.S.
