Our communities are growing and so are our teams! We’re hiring a Manager of Community Operations (Community Manager) at one our East Valley based communities in Chandler, AZ. In this role, you will help keep our communities running smoothly by handling maintenance repairs and contributing to the upkeep of the community, while providing the five-star service that makes Mark-Taylor communities feel like home.

Compensation

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $65,000/annually.
  • In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible to receive bonuses based on achievement of operational metrics.
Requirements
  •  A minimum of 2 years of experience as a multi-family community manger is required. 
  • Strong conflict management and critical thinking skills with the ability to effectively resolve resident and employee concerns
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, invoices, and community financial performance
  • Demonstrated client relations skills with the ability to build and maintain strong ownership and client partnerships
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members while fostering a positive employee experience
  • Experience with invoice management, project management, and coordinating community initiatives
  • Strong market analysis skills with the ability to understand market trends and apply insights to community performance
  • Strong resident relations and retention skills with a focus on delivering an exceptional resident experience
  • Experience managing community reputation and maintaining a positive presence within the market
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional presence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software preferred
  • A basic understanding of written and verbal English


In This Role You Will

  • Meet or exceed targeted revenue expectations by setting rent rates, managing operating expenses, and diligently monitoring aged delinquency. Prepare and review monthly financial reports with intuitive forecasting and a proactive plan for the financial performance of the asset
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of administrative and service personnel, coordinating their activities and individual goals through tactical planning
  • Oversee the hiring process and ongoing employee performance management through courageous conversations and applicable HR processes. 
  • Conduct regular property inspections, propose, and own the resolution plan and execution of property enhancements.
