Location: Remote Work, US Only

Why Sabin:

Our mission is to make vaccines more accessible, enable innovation and expand immunization across the globe. We seek a future free from vaccine-preventable diseases. We are an innovative, collaborative, and engaged team that values accountability, teamwork, partnership and driving impact. We are vaccine champions improving lives through immunization. Sabin staff, management and the Board of Trustees are committed to ensuring that fairness, integrity, and opportunity remain at the core of how we operate.

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Vaccine Demand & Implementation (VDI) will contribute to Sabin’s Global Immunization (GI) portfolio by advancing sustainable, locally informed solutions that strengthen vaccine demand, confidence, and delivery through strategic partnerships and applied research. VDI generates and translates evidence with partners in low and middle-income countries to inform vaccination policy and practice across four Strategic Priority Areas (SPAs), using approaches such as social and behavioral science, implementation research, monitoring and evaluation, and communities of practice.

The Senior Manager will support the strategic growth and implementation of the VDI portfolio across the four SPAs, with primary focused work in SPA 1 (Resilient immunization programs against health security and climate threats) and SPA 3 (Vaccine confidence and community resilience). In partnership with internal and external stakeholders, the role will identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships and learning agendas that advance evidence generation, implementation research, and program innovation. The Senior Program Manager will advance Global Immunization’s work to strengthen country readiness for health and climate threats by advancing preparedness for the introduction and use of licensed and investigational vaccines, integrating vaccination into outbreak response, and building resilient immunization systems that can adapt and sustain essential immunization services during crises.  Recognizing that effective preparedness and immunization programs depend on community trust, engagement, and demand for vaccination, the role will also advance Sabin’s work in vaccine confidence and community resilience. The role will strengthen collaboration between Sabin’s Global Immunization and Research & Development (R&D) teams while fostering partnerships that improve preparedness for VPD threats and support evidence-informed country decision-making.
