Maine Veterans’ Homes is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to help meet our staffing needs across a variety of shifts.
We have the greatest need for evening and night coverage, with opportunities for day shifts as well.
+$4.00 evening differential
+$5.00 night differential
+$2.50 weekend differential — stacked
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) looking for flexible per diem work while providing leadership and clinical support to a dedicated team serving Maine’s Veterans and their families.
About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor provides leadership, clinical oversight, direction, monitoring, and training for nursing and nursing-related operations throughout the facility during the scheduled shift. The RN Supervisor helps ensure high-quality, resident-centered care and provides support and guidance to nursing staff when needed.
Per diem employees are required to work an average of 8 hours per two-week pay period and a minimum of 16 weekend hours per month.

- Current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Maine
- Knowledge of skilled and long-term care nursing regulations
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
