Pay Range: $18.12-$29.14/hour depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule:

· Full-Time

· Day Shift

· Monday through Friday

· 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

In this role, you’ll help build, assemble, refurbish, and service specialized emergency response and tactical vehicles and modules used by customers throughout the world.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified candidates will possess one or more of the following:

· Technical school degree or diploma

· Equivalent military technical training

· Relevant work experience in:

o Diesel or automotive mechanics

o Electrical systems (AC/DC)

o Hydraulic systems

o Plumbing or pipefitting

o Auto body repair and refinishing

o Welding and fabrication

o Custom vehicle manufacturing

o Fire apparatus or specialty vehicle construction


What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

· Wiring and plumbing vehicle systems

· Assembly of operator and pump control panels

· Installation of vehicle accessories and equipment

· Metal, plastic, and poly fabrication

· Welding and mechanical assembly

· Pump mounting and component installation

· Refurbishing and servicing used trucks and apparatus

· Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions

· Testing assemblies and completed systems

· Diagnosing and correcting assembly or equipment issues

· Operating hand tools, power tools, hoists, and shop equipment

· Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment


Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with hydraulic systems and water pumping equipment

· Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints

· Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical systems

· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail


Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires:

· Lifting, pushing, and pulling materials up to 80 pounds

· Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, and working overhead

· Standing and walking throughout the workday

· Working safely around manufacturing equipment and vehicles
