AIC Training Supervisor

POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD


Dynamic Science, Inc. is recruiting one dedicated AIC Training Supervisor for the Fort Bliss Airspace Information Center, contingent on award of W911S826RA015. The Training Supervisor plans and runs AIC training on the day shift. The position is not combined with the ATC Training Supervisor and is not a scheduled control seat except for currency required by TC 3-04.15. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, direct, and supervise facility training of assigned AIC personnel, including classroom and self-study. 
  • Develop local course material, training aids, and scenarios for AIC flight following, special-use airspace, and UAS coordination. 
  • Evaluate trainee progress, maintain training records, and position-qualify trainees. 
  • Recommend proficiency or remedial training to the AIC Facility Chief. 
  • Administer biennial written exams and skill evaluations. 
  • Report trainee status to the Site Manager. 
  • Ensure personnel performing UAS-related AIC functions are trained to Attachment 4 and applicable Army, DoD, and FAA policy. 



Requirements

 

  • Minimum three (3) years of Army fixed-base AIC experience controlling aircraft at Army locations. 
  • Previous AIC certification prior to employment. 
  • Must be facility-rated before assuming AIC duties and must maintain an active Army Class IV flight physical (DD Form 2992). 
  • FAA Form 7220-1 (ATCS) for AIC expected. 
  • U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain SECRET (Tier 3). 
  • Cannot be combined with the ATC Training Supervisor or any other PWS key position. 
  • Valid driver’s license; available for day-shift phase-in and full performance. 

Schedule and Place of Performance 

Day shift, Monday–Friday, 0800–1700, excluding Federal holidays. Primary place of performance is Biggs AAF, Building 13488, with AIC backup operations at Building 11210.
