Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Debt and Equity Analyst to support the financing and investment activities of our affordable housing development organization. This role provides financial modeling, investment analysis, due diligence, and transaction support for debt and equity financings across a portfolio of affordable housing developments. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and Excel skills, thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and is committed to helping create and preserve quality affordable housing communities.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Capital Markets Analysis 
  • Capital Due Diligence Execution and Coordination 
  • POC for Project Specific Capital Partners 
  • Feasibility Analysis of Negotiated Financial Terms 
  • Analysis, Underwriting, Model Creation, and QC 
  • Capital Stack Analysis and Recommendations 
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Real Estate related disciplines
  • 0 - 3 years of experience in finance or real estate related roles
  • Strong computer skills including Excel (proficiency including knowledge of advanced formulas, financial metrics, managing large datasets, etc. required) and other MS Office Suite products.
  • Strong capacity to execute autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-task environment, balancing competing priorities and multiple project assignments.
  • Limited travel may be required
  • Possess a friendly, proactive attitude, and a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Adaptable and willing to take on tasks as needed
  • Team oriented mind-set is an absolute must

Physical Functions:

  • Bending, kneeling, stretching, squatting, lifting to fifteen (15) pounds
