JOB SUMMARY:
Ensures reliable operation of all technical production systems and assist with building infrastructure. Responsible for maintaining distribution integrity, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and long-term planning for technical and facility needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Engineering & Technical Operations):
· Oversee setup, configuration, and operation of audio, video, intercom, IFB, transmission, streaming, and production systems.
· Ensure proper operation of studio, PTZ, and field cameras, monitors, recorders, routers, control systems, and related broadcast infrastructure.
· Set up production resources to support daily operations, productions, and special events.
· Installation, maintenance, documentation, and lifecycle management of all broadcast-related equipment and systems.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting live productions, broadcasts, and station operations.
· Coordinate repair, replacement, and vendor support for broadcast and technical equipment.
· Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
· Plan and manage system upgrades, technology refreshes, capital projects, and future technical needs.
· Ensure systems comply with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations.
· Oversee the administration and reliability of engineering technology systems.
· Coordinate routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency response related to technical infrastructure.
· Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
· All other duties as assigned.

· Deliver consistent, high-quality technical support for live and recorded productions.
· Proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across engineering and facilities.

· EXPERIENCE:
o Minimum of three (3) years of progressive engineering experience.
o Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.
o Experience supporting live production operations.

OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS:
· May be asked to work longer hours and occasional weekends with short notice.
· Will/may be driving a company vehicle or your own vehicle for company business, a valid driver’s license and a good driving record as determined by a driver’s license background check is required for this position.
· All team members must successfully pass a background check (7 years), FBI fingerprint clearance and PA child clearance.
