Position Summary
The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving inventory accuracy and efficiency within the organization. This role supports supply chain operations by ensuring proper tracking of materials, maintaining system data integrity, reconciling discrepancies, and identifying trends to optimize inventory management. The Inventory Control Analyst collaborates with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to maintain accurate records, support demand planning, and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, transactions, and variances to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct root cause analysis of discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Reconcile physical counts with system data through cycle counts and audits.
- Maintain item master data, part numbers, and inventory-related system updates.
- Develop and generate inventory-related reports and KPIs for management.
- Partner with all departments to resolve inventory issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordination and oversight of the annual physical inventory planning and execution.
- Support ERP/MRP system utilization and enhancements related to inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.
- Bill of material setup and correction
- RMA and QA inventory disposition
- Cost control and correction
- Plan and direct inventory stock transfers per MRP recommendations
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, supply chain processes, and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large data sets.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with all departments and warehouse teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, or related field required.
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or related field.
- Experience with cycle counting, root cause analysis, and ERP/MRP systems required.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS/CPIM certification preferred.

Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Prolonged periods working on a computer.
- Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds during inventory counts.
- Exposure to both office and warehouse environments.
- Ability to work extended hours during physical inventories or peak demand periods.
