St. Jude Neighborhood Health Centers is seeking a full-time LVN to engage in outreach to and assessment of the needs for unhoused persons living on the streets of north Orange County. Outreach will be undertaken in partnership with The Hope Center of Orange County. Most of this job will involve performing work outdoors and interacting with individuals living on the streets.

Essential Functions:
Perform clinical functions within the scope of practice, including, but not limited to: immunizations, performance of vital signs, health screenings administration, medication dispensing, and render wound care. Seek direction and patient orders from a licensed provider when and as appropriate.
Education:
Graduate of a Licensed Vocational Nursing Program.
License/ Certifications:
Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse license, in good standing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA approved program.
Experience:
Two (2) years of LVN experience are required. Experience working with unhoused people is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrate a commitment and passion for working with underserved patient populations.
Demonstrates the ability to read, write and speak English fluently; knowledge of Spanish is preferred, but not required.
