We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is responsible for accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing for approximately 500 employees across multiple states. The ideal candidate has hands-on payroll experience in a healthcare, outpatient clinic, or physician practice setting. 

Key Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for approximately 500 employees across multiple states.
• Review employee hours, earnings, deductions, benefits, and payroll adjustments for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and according to established deadlines.
• Support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with HR and other departments to maintain accurate payroll information.

• Healthcare, outpatient clinic, or physician practice payroll experience required.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience required.
• Experience processing payroll for a mid-to-large employee population.
• ADP payroll experience preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential information appropriately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
