Human Resource Specialist

BQC Foundry is seeking an experienced, bilingual Human Resources Specialist to independently manage the day-to-day HR needs of our manufacturing facility.

This is a hands-on position for an HR professional who is comfortable working directly with employees, supervisors, and management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, approachable, confident handling employee relations matters, and able to manage multiple HR responsibilities with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day      HR resource for employees and supervisors.
  • Manage employee relations issues,      disciplinary documentation, attendance, and policy administration.
  • Coordinate recruiting, hiring,      onboarding, orientation, and new-hire paperwork.
  • Administer employee benefits and      assist with annual open enrollment.
  • Coordinate FMLA and other      employee leave programs.
  • Maintain confidential personnel      records and required HR documentation.
  • Assist managers and supervisors      with employee performance and workplace issues.
  • Coordinate employee training and      development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable      employment laws and company policies.
  • Plan employee recognition      programs and company events.
  • Promote a positive workplace      culture and maintain a visible presence throughout the facility.

What We're Looking For

  • Bilingual – English/Spanish      required
  • 5+ years of Human Resources or      employee/labor relations experience
  • Strong knowledge of employee      relations, benefits, FMLA, attendance, and HR compliance.
  • Ability to independently manage      daily HR responsibilities and make sound decisions.
  • Strong communication and      interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability      to adjust priorities quickly.
  • Comfortable working directly with      employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Previous manufacturing HR      experience strongly preferred.
  • College degree in Human      Resources, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience with B&L Odyssey      and Paylocity is a plus.
