Are you passionate about helping pets and the people who love them? Do you enjoy building community connections, coordinating meaningful programs, and creating solutions that keep animals safe, healthy, and in loving homes?
If you're an organized, compassionate professional who loves working with people, volunteers, and community partners while making a direct impact on animal welfare, the Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC) wants you on our team.
Why HSSC?
At HSSC, we're more than a shelter. We're a community-driven organization dedicated to saving lives, strengthening the human-animal bond, and providing compassionate care for animals in need.
Many of the animals and pet owners we help never enter our shelter. Through programs like our Community Cat Program, Rehome Assistance Program, and Community Pet Food Pantry, we provide resources and support that keep pets in homes, improve animal welfare throughout our community, and create positive outcomes for both people and animals.
As our Community Programs Coordinator, you'll help lead these essential programs while working alongside volunteers, community partners, and fellow animal welfare professionals to expand HSSC's impact beyond our shelter walls.
