Position Highlights:
- Outpatient clinic schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No weekends or holidays
- Long-term contract with potential for extension
- Pediatric Locum Tenens contract position

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on preventative health, nutrition, and child development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and care teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, care coordination, and community health efforts

Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory
- Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in outpatient pediatric settings
- Current certifications: BLS and PALS (ACLS and NRP preferred)
- U.S. citizenship and current residence in the continental United States
- Certification of education (copy of diploma or transcripts required)
- Current DEA license and eligibility to prescribe medications
- Strong pediatric diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems (RPMS preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to comply with all federal and state medical practice regulations
- Adaptability to a flexible and dynamic work environment
- Valid driver’s license may be required
