Manager, Treasury
Reports to: Director, Finance and Treasury
Position Summary
Manages key aspects of Azamara's global treasury function, including cash and liquidity management, banking operations, hedging, and treasury policies, reporting, and controls. Partnering with the Director, Finance and Treasury, this role helps shape and carry out treasury strategy in support of Azamara's financial objectives and growth. It also contributes to capital structure and risk management, leads treasury technology and process improvements, and supervises and develops treasury staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Own daily, short-term and long-term liquidity planning to ensure adequate funds for operating and capital needs.
- Manage domestic and international cash operations, banking relationships, merchant processors, and corporate credit card programs.
- Manage letters of credit, guarantees, and bonds required for operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls.
Treasury Strategy
- Partner with the Director, Finance and Treasury to develop and implement treasury strategies aligned with Azamara's financial objectives and growth plans.
- Provide analysis and recommendations on treasury matters, market trends, and opportunities.
Capital & Risk Management
- Leads strategy for mitigation of FX, interest rate, and counterparty risk.
- Manage hedging activities and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Reporting & Analysis
- Own treasury reporting, cash forecasting, and scenario analysis for leadership review.
- Support the Director, Finance and Treasury with lender relationships, covenant compliance, and reporting requirements.
Technology & Process
- Lead the adoption of treasury technology solutions and process automation to improve efficiency and reporting.
- Oversee ERP integrations, and drive continuous process improvement.
Ad-hoc Projects
- Represent treasury on special projects such as fleet expansion, commercial development, and onboard cash initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
5 to 7 years of treasury, finance, or accounting experience.
Supervisory experience preferred.
