Position Description: As a key member of PMP’s Leadership Team, the Division Director of Community Management will oversee an assigned division and its community management team. This role is responsible for providing guidance, mentorship, operational oversight, and strategic direction while ensuring company goals, deadlines, client expectations, and compliance requirements are met.


The Division Director of Community Management will play a critical role in fostering an engaging, supportive, and high performing team culture that reflects PMP’s values.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, train, and support community association management staff.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and staff development efforts.
  • Motivate and inspire team members while holding them accountable to company standards, client expectations, and performance goals.
  • Schedule and conduct regular staff touch-base meetings and team functions.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented work environment.
  • Attend all mandatory company functions.

Operations and Service Delivery

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for the assigned division.
  • Ensure company deadlines, deliverables, service standards, and division goals are met.
  • Assess and monitor company and staffing needs; identify opportunities to improve service delivery methods, procedures, and programs.
  • Actively manage customer and staff concerns, making appropriate decisions consistent with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement programs or initiatives that improve operational effectiveness, efficiency, and cost management.
  • Lead or support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.

Client Relations

  • Participate in client meetings on behalf of PMP leadership, as needed.
  • Support strong client relationships by ensuring responsive communication, professional service, and effective issue resolution.
  • Represent PMP professionally in interactions with clients, boards, vendors, team members, and industry partners.

Compliance and Financial Oversight

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as applicable corporate, civil code, state, and federal requirements.
  • Oversee division billing and invoice processing in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and monitor adherence to the division budget.
  • Stay informed of current trends, laws, best practices, and innovations in community management and community programming.
  • Attend and participate in relevant professional group meetings, as appropriate.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly or indirectly oversee assigned community association management staff.
  • Train, coach, and support team members in alignment with company standards and expectations.
  • Provide guidance on escalated client, board, homeowner, staff, and operational matters.
  • Be available for occasional evening, weekend, holiday, or emergency matters as business needs require.
  • Participate in the on-call schedule for emergency requests, as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of experience as an HOA portfolio manager or on-site community manager.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a management, supervisory, or leadership role.
  • Four-year college degree preferred.
  • CMCA or similar professional designation preferred.
  • Proven ability to motivate, inspire, develop, and hold a team accountable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong ability to review and understand budgets and financial statements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional, honest, responsible, optimistic, and collaborative demeanor.





Salary Description
$100,000 to $120,000 per year
