Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week correctional healthcare travel assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity offers a consistent 3x12 night-shift block schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

 

FREE HOUSING AVAILABLE

Free shared traveler housing is currently available for this assignment on a first-come, first-served basis.

The available traveler housing is a three-bedroom mobile home with a kitchen, living room, laundry, Wi-Fi, and individual bedrooms.

Travelers may claim a bedroom for the days they are scheduled to work. After completing their scheduled three-shift block, they must vacate the property and may return for their next scheduled block.

Housing availability is limited and must be confirmed at the time of placement.

 

TRAVEL CONTRACT AT A GLANCE

Gross Weekly Pay: $2,182
Taxable Rate: $26.00/hour
Tax-Free Travel Stipend: $1,246/week for eligible travelers
Housing: $770/week
Meals & Incidentals: $476/week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3x12 Nights
Block Schedule: Sunday–Tuesday
Start Timing: PREA training will be scheduled and completed during orientation

Tax-free stipend eligibility is subject to applicable tax-home and travel requirements.

Local Rate: $52.00/hour
Local Overtime Rate: $80.00/hour
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

THE ASSIGNMENT

Provide professional registered nursing care within a secure correctional healthcare environment. The RN will provide direct patient care, assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments as ordered, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support safe and effective care.

This assignment offers a consistent Sunday–Tuesday block schedule with three 12-hour night shifts each week and 36 guaranteed hours.

PREA training will be scheduled and completed during orientation. Timely completion of required documentation and facility clearance requirements is important to keep onboarding moving.

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license appropriate for practice in New Mexico REQUIRED
  • Ability to work 3x12 night shifts on the Sunday–Tuesday block schedule REQUIRED

  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills REQUIRED

Salary Description
$2,182 Weekly | $1,246 Tax-Free Stipend
