Responsibilities:
• Analyze complex system characteristics to design and implement real-time computer models of aircraft systems and airborne devices
• Develop robust system architecture and software to support embedded simulations
• Conduct thorough verification and validation of simulation systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with precision and efficiency
• Update technical documentation
• Collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines on cutting-edge defense projects
Minimum Qualifications:
• U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship permitted)
• Must be able to qualify for a Department of Defense Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field such as, but not limited to aerospace engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, math, or physics
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience
• Proficiency in high order programming language
Preferred Qualifications:
• Programming languages: C, C++, Ada, Fortran
• Scripting languages: Python, Perl
• Knowledge of vector mathematics and coordinate transformations
• Understanding of calculus-based physics principles
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong independent work ethic with collaborative team mindset
Physical Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and keyboard
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
• Regular, predictable attendance is required
• Moderate Noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers, light traffic)
