Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN | North Muskegon, MI

Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting is looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in North Muskegon, Michigan!

As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work alongside an experienced rehabilitation team to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.

What You'll Do

  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities
  • Assist patients with improving strength, mobility, balance and endurance
  • Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising PT
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility and safety
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team
  • Promote patient safety and quality outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Michigan PTA license or eligibility for licensure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Skilled nursing, post-acute or geriatric experience is a plus
  • New graduates are welcome to apply!
