Robbins Lumber Company is looking for an experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team.
As a premier manufacturer of Eastern White Pine, our operation depends on reliable, well-maintained electrical and automated equipment. We are looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have industrial electrical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to work hands-on in a demanding manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems throughout the sawmill.
• Diagnose electrical problems with motors, controls, sensors, VFDs, PLCs, and other industrial equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery.
• Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, panels, switches, and related components.
• Respond to electrical equipment breakdowns and production-related issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to identify and correct equipment problems.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, automation projects, and other electrical projects.
• Help identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all Robbins Lumber safety procedures.
• Perform other maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications
• Previous industrial electrical experience preferred.
• Experience working with manufacturing or sawmill equipment is a plus.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of industrial motors, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and control systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• PLC and automation experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment beyond electrical issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to working safely around heavy machinery and moving equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and/or respond to occasional after-hours maintenance needs.

Pay range potential over career $67,621 - $117,797 annually.
Pay will be dependent upon experience.
