The Performance Marketing Manager owns the paid acquisition engine for our Digital Growth and Experience team. This role is accountable for a multi-million-dollar paid media program across paid social, video, search, and emerging channels, measured against monthly attainment gates and a clear new customer acquisition goal.
This is not a passive media coordination role. It is a builder and operator seat for someone who can direct an agency without losing touch with the platforms, read performance daily, brief creative tests, diagnose what is working, and move budget toward the highest return opportunity with discipline. You will run spend on honest measurement: GA4 is our source of record, platform-reported figures are directional, and we show both numbers rather than smoothing the gap.
What you will do
- Own performance strategy and budget. Develop and execute the paid media plan across channels against revenue, new customer acquisition, ROAS, CAC, LTV, etc. as well as conversion outcomes. Manage budget pacing against monthly attainment gates where results unlock the next phase of investment.
- Run paid social and video channels. Manage direct response paid social and video across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Build audiences, test formats, optimize budgets, and connect learnings back to creative, merchandising, and lifecycle strategy.
- Own paid search and shopping strategy. Own search and shopping strategy across campaigns, keywords, feeds, and landing destinations as channels activate, partnering with our web experience team on the organic search opportunities that capture existing demand efficiently.
- Build a high-velocity creative testing engine. Translate channel performance into clear creative briefs for rapid testing across hooks, offers, formats, UGC, and creator assets, including influencer whitelisting with our social team. Feed winning patterns back to social, content, and lifecycle so they scale beyond a single campaign.
- Own measurement, optimization, and reporting. In partnership with our marketing analyst, build clear performance reporting across spend, revenue, ROAS, CAC, and customer quality on a GA4 basis. Run incrementality with rigor: randomized holdouts are our standing design for new programs with meaningful spend. Separate directional signals from proven learnings and bring recommendations, not just readouts.
- Partner on social commerce amplification. Support paid amplification of our TikTok Shop and social commerce channel, including Spark Ads and commerce media, while the social team owns channel strategy, content, and merchandising moments.
- Connect paid media to lifecycle and first-party audiences. Partner with our lifecycle team on retargeting, suppression, lookalike, and win-back strategies so paid and owned channels compound rather than compete for the same customer.
- Manage the agency relationship. Direct our paid media agency on outcomes: scopes, testing plans, KPIs, and reporting expectations, while staying close enough to execution to catch issues early and hold methodology standards.
- Evaluate emerging channels. Build gated, measurable business cases for new channel tests such as connected TV, with holdout measurement designed before a dollar is spent.
- Build the performance marketing operating rhythm. Create repeatable processes for budget pacing, test planning, creative requests, weekly scorecard annotations, campaign QA, and performance decisions. Bring a high-accountability, test-and-learn mindset to a capability we are actively scaling.
What you will bring
- 5 to 8+ years across digital performance marketing, growth, or paid media with meaningful hands-on ownership of lower-funnel channels for a consumer brand, retailer, or high-performing agency
- Direct experience managing paid social, video, and search channels on platforms: Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Google, and emerging performance channels
- Strong command of ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, budget pacing, and channel contribution, with the judgment to balance growth, efficiency, and customer quality
- Hands-on experience with incrementality or holdout testing, and deep GA4 fluency; comfort operating where platform attribution and analytics disagree
- Ability to read creative performance, brief rapid tests, and identify which messages, hooks, offers, and formats improve conversion
- Agency management experience with a record of holding partners to outcome standards
- Experience with social commerce media such as Spark Ads or GMV-focused campaigns is a strong plus; influencer amplification and whitelisting experience valued
- Direct selling, community commerce, or creator economy exposure is a plus
- High agency, high pace, high accountability; comfortable in a team where the performance playbook is being built and the channel owner stays close to execution
