Deer Ridge and Raspberry Woods Townhomes are seeking a professional Full-time Property Manager to join their team in Minnetonka, MN. The Property Manager is responsible for the overall operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction of a multi-family residential property. This role leads the on-site team, ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, manages budgets and expenses, and maximizes the value of the owner’s investment. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with strong operational, financial, and customer service skills.


Working Hours:

Typically, FT40, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Property office hours may vary from property to property. You may be asked to flex your schedule to meet the demands of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Property Operations & Leadership

  • Lead, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate on-site staff, including assistant property manager, leasing, maintenance, and service teams
  • Schedule staffing and oversee daily property operations, apartment turns, and special projects
  • Ensure staff are properly trained and perform duties in accordance with company standards
  • Conduct performance reviews and address employee issues as needed

Resident Relations & Customer Service

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents
  • Address resident concerns, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and community relations

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets
  • Monitor expenses and financial performance to ensure budget compliance
  • Oversee rent collection, delinquency management, and eviction processes as required
  • Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments
  • Prepare and submit required operational and financial reports

Leasing, Marketing & Occupancy

  • Oversee leasing and lease renewal processes
  • Support marketing strategies, market surveys, and competitive analysis
  • Monitor occupancy trends and recommend strategies to achieve leasing goals

Systems, Vendors & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate data entry and reporting within the property management system
  • Establish and manage vendor relationships and service contracts
  • Oversee property inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing laws, and applicable regulations

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in professional, industry, and community associations as appropriate
  • Assist with property inspections and operational tasks as needed
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of property management experience (prior APM or similar role preferred)
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of property operations, leasing, and financial management
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and basic accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and property management systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties as needed

Salary Description
$70,000 - $80,000/YR
