Atlantic Community Bankers Bank (ACBB) is seeking an Accounting & Financial Analysis Manager to play a key role in managing financial close activities, supporting financial and regulatory reporting, analyzing business performance, and driving continuous improvement across the Accounting function. This position offers a unique opportunity to partner with leaders across the organization while contributing to the financial strength and operational effectiveness of our growing banking organization.
What You'll Do
1. Financial Oversight & Compliance
- Ensure proper control of key financial activities.
- Prepare and submit external regulatory reports, including the Quarterly Call Report and required filings to the FRB.
- Support the Annual Report compilation process, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain and update the chart of accounts to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Review journal entries and account reconciliations and prepare key and complex GL entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare consolidation entries for the Bank Holding Company, the Bank, and its subsidiaries.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and Board of Directors financial summaries.
- Oversee payroll reconciliations and related postings.
2. Budgeting Responsibilities
- Manage non-interest income and expense forecasting in partnership with senior management and department leaders to support the budgeting process.
3. Process Optimization & Automation
- Lead special projects in coordination with the Director of Accounting and Project Management Office, with a focus on automation and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements while ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
4. Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for accounting processes, financial reporting, and expense management.
- Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing support to Accounting and Finance team members, promoting consistency, accuracy, and adherence to GAAP and internal controls.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve complex accounting issues, support financial close and reporting objectives, and promote best practices that enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance within the Accounting function.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Progressive accounting and financial analysis experience.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience managing financial close and account reconciliation processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Regulatory reporting experience.
- CPA or CPA-track candidate.
- Experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives.

Pay Transparency
$85,000- 110,000 annually. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
