Position Summary:

Marucci Sports is looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting network issues, and assisting with network infrastructure projects. You will work closely with senior network engineers to learn and grow your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level technical support for network issues, including hardware and software problems.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, such as latency, packet loss, and routing problems.
• Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and identify potential problems.
• Assist with network infrastructure projects, such as network expansions and upgrades.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of network security concepts and best practices.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 

• 0-2 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+. (Preferred)
• Experience with Auvik, Ubiquiti, Fortigate, Ticketing Software, and asset tracking. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts and technologies. (Preferred)

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
