Functional Description:
- Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
- Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
- Serves as a Liaison for IPTS within the PMA, to external agencies and program offices with interest in the PALC systems.
- Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to Precision Approach Landing Capability systems (PALC) acquisitions and product programs.
- Tracks program/project status and schedules.
- Applies government-instituted process for documentation, change control management and data management.
- Coordinates, supports and facilitates meeting with internal and external agencies. Serves as a senior Subject Matter Expert for the PALC system / family of systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Liaison for PALC IPTs within the PMA and with external agencies.
- Attend, support and update program/project briefings, schedules and acquisitions documentation.
- Review and provide recommendations to program/project budgets, support program/project team leadership in management, tracking of acquisitions milestones, cost schedule & performance documentation, and other assign duties as required.
- Support the PALC Precision approach Landing Capability system (PALC) IPT and systems across the ship and shore IPTs within the PMA.
- Gather management inputs for various family of systems build monthly family of systems meetings with external agencies, support PALC road maps development and management, support meetings, gather product inputs, field questions and provide additional clarification for action items with DoN agencies.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience performing program / project analysis
- Experience with the PALC systems.
Desired Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience supporting NAVAIR programs.
- SME experience with PALC systems
- Experience supporting senior level leadership, drafting briefs and communicating with PM Level leadership
- Development of acquisitions documentation
- experience with the following tools: Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP), Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT), Procurement Management Tool (PMT).
Education Requirements:
BA/BS degree or supplemental experience is required.
