Overview
We're hiring an experienced, skilled, dependable, HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician to support our Chicagoland properties. You'll be the go-to person for keeping our residents' homes safe, comfortable, and running smoothly. What You'll Do

• Respond to and complete resident service requests promptly and professionally
• Diagnose and repair issues across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Complete apartment turnovers to make-ready standards (minor drywall, paint touch-up, fixture replacement, repairs)
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems and common areas
• Maintain pool area, breezeways, and grounds; assist with light landscaping as needed
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
• Document all work orders accurately and keep parts/supplies inventory organized
• Identify safety hazards and ensure work meets code and company standards

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of multi-family or apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair
• HVAC Certified
• Own basic hand tools
• Strong customer service skills and a respectful, professional demeanor with residents
• Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, work in attics/crawl spaces, and work outdoors in Florida weather
• Available for on-call rotation including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

License/Certification:
