Job Name:  National Registry Account Manager and Training Lead

Schedule:  Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. / 37.5-hour work week/ Hybrid   

Responsibilities

The National Registry of CPE Sponsors is a program offered by NASBA to recognize CPE program sponsors who provide continuing professional education (CPE) programs in accordance with nationally recognized standards. CPE program sponsors receive approved status on the Registry by demonstrating compliance with The Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs (Standards) as well as NASBA Registry program requirements.

As Account Manager and Training Lead, the employee will review and analyze National Registry Applications and CPE programs for compliance with the Standards and education quality. This position also serves as an internal resource for Account Managers by providing training, standards guidance, review support, and specialized expertise in QAS™ Self Study, Nano Learning, and Blended Learning. Responsibilities and duties include:

· Analyze QAS™ self-study, Nano and Blended Learning CPE programs for instructional design quality and compliance with the Standards.

· Analyze group programs for compliance with the Standards and educational quality.

· Review applications to the National Registry, including program course list; promotional materials or course announcements; administrative policies; evaluation forms; and certificates of completion.

· Perform compliance desk audits of sponsors.

· Create formal correspondence to sponsors including requests for additional materials, revisions to application materials, and instructional design checklist and instructional design review recommendations for compliance. Ensure CPE-related databases and spreadsheets are maintained and appropriate follow-up is made for all CPE programs.

· Answer CPE-related inquiries and requests from CPAs, state accountancy boards and sponsors.

· Serve as the primary trainer and onboarding resource for National Registry Account Managers, including training on the Standards, Registry policies, review processes, systems, and application procedures.

· Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, guidance and other resources used by Account Managers.

· Support the administration of Salesforce and Form Assembly by maintaining templates, workflows, and resolving operational issues, along with identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality.

· Educational Research: Researching sponsor questions, educational processes to provide justification for the Standards, and new concepts introduced by sponsors or staff members.

· Participate in National Registry Summit and assist in LinkedIn Page content creation.

· Perform other duties, including administrative/clerical, as required in support of the Registry team’s activities, conferences, committee projects, public relations efforts, etc.

· Other duties may be assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities: None.


Internal Relationships: This position interacts closely with the Associate Director, National Registry, Sr. Manager, National Registry, Compliance Auditors, and other Registry Account Managers


External Relationships: This position interacts primarily with existing and potential sponsors on the Registry (CPE learning providers) and, to a lesser degree, the personnel of State Boards of Accountancy, other regulatory agencies, and the personnel of State CPA Societies.

Education and Knowledge

· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration,   Accounting, Communications, or related field

· Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design,   and continuing education practices.

· Strong computer skills: proficient in Word, Excel, and Internet   navigation as many CPE programs have a technological component

· Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, guidance, and   subject matter expertise in a collaborative team environment.
