Job Title: Project Engineer

We are a first-mover company seeking an individual that works with a sense of urgency, provides excellent customer service, and can independently drive multiple projects. This position will design engineered solutions for commissioning or remediating customer projects. Position Overview:
Our customers choose PurgeRite because of our unique ability to deliver turn-key flushing solutions for some of the most complex hydronic systems being deployed today. This key position is responsible for engineering solutions unique to each customer’s system after acquiring a deep understanding of their system design, their flushing and chemical treatment requirements, and the site infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Water Treatment Plan Development
- Independently author complete water treatment plans for NearZero jobs. This includes project scope, treatment objectives, equipment list, staging, site requirements, and completion criteria.
- Calculate flushing volume, haul-off volume, and chemistry dosing requirements for each job.
- Size RO equipment, including redundancy requirements, and determine temporary power and fuel requirements.
- Review source water quality analyses to define treatment stages and recovery ramp schedules.
- Process-map each NearZero setup and define the responsibilities and safety requirements split between PurgeRite and treatment partners on site.
Field Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide engineering support to field crews during active rinses; troubleshoot recovery, membrane dP, and water-quality issues in real time.
- Review field data logs and utility consumption trends across jobs, and feed learnings back into future water treatment plans.
- Travel occasionally for job-site commissioning, process audits, or complex troubleshooting that field crews escalate.
Reporting & QA/QC
- Complete final water treatment reports upon job completion.
- Perform QA/QC review of sample data, confirming proper field procedure was followed throughout the job
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with all stakeholders from field technicians to owner representatives
- A strong sense of urgency and dedication to meeting project timelines
- Proficiency in industrial water treatment methods
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly solve problems with practical solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
