Member Services Associate
Description

Mission

The Member Services Associate provides financial support for Bok Tower Gardens by assisting current members and inviting Gardens visitors to join. The position provides high-quality service and appreciation to members through in-person interactions, events, telephone conversations, email, and postal mail.

This role consistently upholds and supports Bok Tower Gardens’ mission, vision, and cultural values.


Core Duties/ Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and maintain member contact information and other database records; participate in data hygiene projects and protect sensitive and confidential information.

• Respond to membership and registration questions from visitors, members, and donors in person, by telephone, and by email, providing personalized, professional service and resolving concerns.

• Process membership applications accurately and efficiently and prepare and mail membership cards.

• Collaborate with the Philanthropy & Membership and Visitor Engagement teams to meet revenue and performance goals and generate increased financial support.

• Share opportunities for participation in Gardens events and activities with current and prospective members and donors.

• Conduct outreach through telephone calls, email, in-person events, and other engagement efforts; deliver personalized tours for members and their guests.

• Provide administrative support for member, donor, and prospect interactions and assist with special events as needed.

• Follow Gardens policies and procedures and perform other appropriate duties as assigned.

Outdoor work in Florida weather year-round Outdoor shifts of 4–6 hours or longer for special events

The part-time schedule includes weekends, holidays, and occasional evening work to support special events with advance notice.


Supervision

Reports to the Member Services Manager. Works effectively with minimal supervision and collaborates with staff across departments.


Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in an office setting, customer relationship management, and/or a public-facing customer service role. Requires strong written and verbal communication, a positive professional manner, accuracy, discretion, and the ability to engage people with varied backgrounds and interests. Must prioritize assignments and deadlines, resolve concerns independently, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required. Donor database or CRM experience is preferred.
