Wavepoint Cold Storage is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our warehouse team!

What You’ll Do

As a Material Handler, you will help keep our operation running safely and efficiently by:

• Operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Loading and unloading trailers and railcars
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Moving, stacking, and storing product
• Checking product quantities, lot numbers, temperatures, and dates
• Assisting with inventory and stock rotation
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area

FREEZER ENVIRONMENT

This position will spend most of the workday working inside a freezer. Candidates must be comfortable working in freezer enviroment for extended periods of time and wearing required cold-weather PPE.

 What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work in a freezer environment for most of the workday, including temperatures below zero
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and basic math skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work various shifts and schedules

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday and safely perform work in a freezer environment.
