As a Weld Machine Operator, you will help produce high-quality parts by operating welding equipment and related machinery in a safe, efficient, and team-oriented manufacturing environment. What You'll Do — Stop Scrolling, Read This Part
You'll spend your day operating welding equipment, inspecting parts, keeping production moving, and working with a team committed to safety and quality.
- Operate production equipment to meet quality and production goals.
- Perform basic machine setup and verify machine settings.
- Inspect parts using measuring tools and visual inspection methods.
- Record production and quality information accurately in Plex and other required systems.
- Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and follow standard work instructions.
- Move materials and finished products using pallet jacks and other approved equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S principles.
- Assist with training and knowledge sharing as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work overtime or flexible schedules when business needs require.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, HSE, or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to learn machine operation, quality inspection, and production systems.
- Forklift/tow motor certification is a plus.

Equipment & Systems Used
- Welders and production machinery
- Pallet jacks and material handling equipment
- Plex Manufacturing System
- Measuring and inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and force testers
- Plasma cutter and other shop equipment as assigned
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, noise, varying temperatures, and occasional humidity. Conditions may vary depending on work assignments and production needs.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
- Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work around manufacturing equipment, moving machinery, noise, and varying shop conditions.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Required PPE may include:
Safety glasses
Safety-toe footwear
Hearing protection
Gloves, sleeves, aprons, and welding PPE as required by the task.
