Organization: Three Little Pitties Rescue
Department: Events & Fundraising
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Full Time Salary: Commensurate with experience
Schedule: Flexible, with an expectation to work approximately one half day, 1-2 weekend days per month
Position Summary
Three Little Pitties Rescue is seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing, creative, and highly motivated Events & Fundraising Coordinator to lead our growing calendar of community events, fundraising activities, adoption events, and volunteer-led programs.
This is a hands-on, community-facing position. We are looking for someone who wants to grow the events department. This takes being out in the community—not someone who simply coordinates events from behind a desk. The ideal candidate will build relationships, make phone calls, ask businesses for donations and sponsorships, recruit and motivate volunteers, solve problems on the fly, and personally help execute events from start to finish.
The Events & Fundraising Coordinator will serve as an important representative of Three Little Pitties throughout the Greater Houston area, with a particular emphasis on building relationships within the Friendswood and surrounding business community.
This position sits at the intersection of Marketing, Volunteers, and Development, working closely with all three areas to create events that increase community awareness, generate revenue, cultivate donors, recruit volunteers, and ultimately support our lifesaving mission.

Responsibilities include:

The Three Little Pitties Event Philosophy
We believe the best events are not simply events—they are opportunities to build community around our mission.
The person in this role should be willing to roll up their sleeves, load supplies, set up tables, greet families, lead volunteers, talk to businesses, ask for donations, clean up afterward, and celebrate the wins with the team.
We want someone who sees an empty event calendar and thinks, "Who can we partner with?" Someone who sees a local business and thinks, "How can we build a relationship?" And someone who sees a group of volunteers and thinks, "How can I make these people feel valued and excited to come back?"
This role has the opportunity to make a measurable difference in the lives of animals while building a stronger, more connected community around Three Little Pitties.
