Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation is a US-based gold and silver mining company, which operates its wholly owned Hycroft open pit, gold, and silver mine located an hour southwest of Winnemucca, Nevada.


Job Description

Under the guidance of more senior technicians and/or supervisors, the Warehouse Technician will perform the duties as listed below. An entry level position requires as least 6 months of previous warehouse experience and advanced positions require at least 4+ years of increasingly challenging warehouse experience. 


Responsibilities

  • Issue parts, supplies and equipment from the warehouse by reading pick tickets and picking inventory items from the correct bin location.
  • Receive incoming parts and supplies verifying packing lists to system receiving reports. 
  • Tag incoming inventory items with the correct stock code.
  • Scan and electronically file receiving documents and custody documents.
  •  Shelve incoming parts and supplies to the proper bin location after tagging.
  • Assist in moving, cleaning and re-tagging parts as necessary.
  • Using an inventory stock count sheet, accurately count and record daily stock counts.
  • Perform inventory recounts to reconcile count discrepancies. 
  • Accurately enter data into an inventory management system using a PC.
  • Assist in removing inventory items identified as obsolete or no longer required. 
  • Reconcile missing or incorrect inventory items.
  • Contact suppliers to reconcile OSD (over/short/damaged) issues and expedite past due orders as requested by Purchasing.
  • Completes month end counts and reports.
  • Maintain a variety of files and records. 
  • Verify accuracy of information, research discrepancies, update records, compile and process warehouse reports as assigned.
  • Operate appropriate equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, and office machines.
  • Maintain the warehouse in a safe, clean, and orderly manner by sweeping, dusting and other maintenance activities.
  • Escort delivery trucks to an appropriate unloading location.
  • Creates freight shipment bills of laden, prepares shipments, and material shipping documents used to track removal of parts from the site. 
  • Plans projects.
  • Mentor and train junior warehouse technicians in correct warehouse business processes. 
  • May act as a warehouse team leader in the absence of the supervisor. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to read and write and perform mathematical calculations.
  • A strong understanding of inventory managements processes.
  • Ability to read and understand parts manuals. 
  • An excellent understanding of business software including word processing, spreadsheets, and email. 
  • Advanced experience with inventory management software. 
  • Effective communication skills.
  • An ability to communicate with Managers and other department leaders. 
  • Maintain a good attendance record. 
  • Requires valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to repetitively bend, lift and carry heavy and bulky items in and around a warehouse environment while wearing a variety of PPE. 
  • Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Warehouse or inventory control certification preferred.
