Performance Improvement Coordinator | On-Site | Full-Time
Description

The Performance Improvement Coordinator reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and is responsible for supporting organization-wide quality, patient safety, regulatory, and performance improvement initiatives. This role coordinates the collection, analysis, monitoring, and reporting of quality and safety data to drive continuous improvement and support strategic organizational goals. The Performance Improvement Coordinator collaborates with leaders, providers, and departments throughout the organization to identify opportunities for improvement, facilitate action plans, ensure regulatory and accreditation readiness, support risk reduction activities, and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and high reliability. Through effective communication, education, auditing, and performance monitoring, this position helps advance exceptional patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and patient-centered care across North Canyon Medical Center.  

Requirements
  • Two years’ experience working in a healthcare setting. 
  • BLS preferred 
  • Knowledge of performance improvement processes and tools. 
  • Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title with an emphasis in quality, patient/staff safety, regulatory compliance, accreditation, and performance improvement. 
  • Ability to speak and present content to all levels of the organization. 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. 
  • Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values of efficiency, financial responsibility, safety, partnership, service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, trust and respect.
