Description

 The Marketing Director owns centrexIT’s marketing ecosystem and messaging architecture, with a primary focus on orchestrating AI-based marketing talent and partner relationships rather than building an internal team.


This role designs, governs, and continuously improves the systems by leveraging AI agents, internal stakeholders, vendors, and platforms that power brand, validate market perception, align internal messaging and communications, empower digital execution, generate qualified demand generation, manage campaigns, identify lifecycle expansion opportunities, measure performance, inform go-to-market opportunities, and strengthen the centrexIT brand across the full client journey.


Marketing at centrexIT operates as a force multiplier for Sales, Client Success, Productization, Leadership, PR agencies, media partners, and other stakeholders supporting qualification, validation, retention, and predictable expansion. The Director ensures messaging aligns tightly with what is delivered in the field and that marketing systems scale reliably as centrexIT expands geographically across priority markets nationwide ensuring the right audience receives the right message, product, service, and offer at the right time based on client vertical, company size, geography, maturity, and alignment to centrexIT’s Ideal Client Profile (ICP).


The position will require event related travel with the occasional business trip.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Brand, Messaging & Marketing Governance

· Own and evolve centrexIT’s brand narrative and messaging architecture, ensuring clarity, consistency, and differentiation across all internal and external channels.

· Maintain and enforce Marketing Guidelines & Rules, including voice/tone, visual standards, positioning, proof points, campaign frameworks, attribution conventions, and AI usage guidelines.

· Ensure all assets—presentations, proposals, documentation, web content, and collateral—remain accurate, current, and aligned with company deliverables.

· Act as the central steward of messaging, preventing drift between what is marketed and what is delivered.


Internal Communications & Marketing, Employee Storytelling & People-First Representation

· Build and operate an internal communications and marketing engine that captures centrexIT teams in action—supporting clients, responding to incidents, delivering projects, collaborating internally, and engaging partners and communities.

· Transform internal activity into authentic external storytelling, reinforcing centrexIT’s people-first identity through real work and real outcomes.

· Enable employees to participate optionally and safely in external storytelling without turning them into marketers.

· Publish and manage newsletters, email communications, campaign updates, announcements, and other communications across internal and client-facing channels.

· Collaborate with Leadership, HR, Client Success, and Operations to ensure employees understand and reinforce the centrexIT narrative.

· Help clients and prospects stay informed about centrexIT’s value, capabilities, and evolving solutions through clear, relevant, and timely communications.


AI-Amplified Marketing Operations & Partner Orchestration

· Design, deploy, and manage a distributed marketing function powered by AI agents, covering research, content creation, SEO/AIO, publishing, campaign execution, analysis, and optimization.

· Orchestrate AI agents toward defined marketing outcomes while maintaining human oversight for quality, brand integrity, security, and judgment.

· Collaborate with technology partners, vendors, and AI services to ensure operational reliability, scalability, and performance of marketing systems.

· Reduce reliance on traditional agencies by scaling AI-enabled internal capacity, while selectively engaging partners for specialized expertise or infrastructure-level needs.


PR, Media & Community-Led Brand Awareness & Emerging Channels

· Identify, test, and scale community-driven platforms (e.g., Reddit, industry forums, YouTube, Slack/Discord communities, peer and local business networks) as trusted discovery and validation channels.

· Establish ethical participation frameworks emphasizing transparency, value-first engagement, and respect for community norms.

· Partner with internal experts and AI-driven research tools to contribute insight-led perspectives rooted in centrexIT’s real-world experience.

· Partner with PR agencies, media outlets, publishers, and other external communication channels to increase awareness of centrexIT and expand the company’s reach into desired markets.

· Coordinate press releases, media opportunities, podcasts, contributed content, interviews, announcements, and brand stories that elevate centrexIT’s visibility and credibility.

· Convert community insights into content strategy, SEO/AEO/AIO priorities, sales enablement, and objection handling.


Internal & External Communications

· Own and execute recurring internal and external communications that keep employees, clients, prospects, and partners informed about centrexIT’s initiatives, services, thought leadership, successes, and updates.

· Publish and manage newsletters, email communications, campaign updates, announcements, and other communications across internal and client-facing channels.

· Ensure the centrexIT team stays current on messaging, go-to-market initiatives, service positioning, and marketing priorities so the company speaks with one voice.

· Help clients and prospects stay informed about centrexIT’s value, capabilities, and evolving solutions through clear, relevant, and timely communications.

· Capture and communicate the real work centrexIT performs for clients and the community through authentic storytelling that reflects a people-first, outcomes-driven brand.


Sales & Client Success Partnership

· Partner closely with Sales and Client Success to support lead qualification, deal validation, pipeline acceleration, retention, and expansion.

· Continuously research market and ensure centrexIT’s relevancy and differentiation as a best-in-class IT services provider focusing on AI, Automation, Cybersecurity, IT Support, and Cloud.

· Collaboratively maintain Ideal Client Profile (ICP) and buyer personas based on centrexIT’s core vertical market—life sciences, healthcare, non-profit, financial and professional services. 

· Continuously inform and refine centrexIT’s ICP and buyer personas using campaign performance, market feedback, win/loss insights, client behavior, and sales validation.

· Segment and target audiences by client vertical, company size, geography, business maturity, and service needs to improve marketing relevance and conversion performance.

· Provide leadership with practical market insight on where centrexIT is resonating today and where the company should focus future marketing efforts for predictable growth.

· Ensure marketing systems and messaging reflect how opportunities are sold, delivered, and expanded.

· Develop enablement assets grounded in real service delivery, client needs, and expansion scenarios.

· Support the Sales and Client Success team’s efforts in cross-selling and upselling centrexIT’s services through messaging, asset creation, etc.


Website Reliability, Content Management System Ownership & Campaign Enablement

· Assume ownership of the ongoing reliability, accuracy, security, and performance of centrexIT’s website.

· Collaborate with internal teams, hosting partners, and AI-driven monitoring/maintenance services to maintain five-nines (99.999%) uptime and rapid incident response.

· Ensure the website remains secure, reliable, and editable on demand, even as campaigns and messaging evolve.

· Build, modify, or retire campaign-specific splash pages and landing pages quickly to support demand generation, geographic targeting, and messaging shifts.

· Partner on larger site initiatives when needed while retaining responsibility for day-to-day performance and readiness.


Demand Generation, Geographic Targeting & Campaign Execution

· Design and manage integrated campaigns that expand top-of-funnel discovery and convert anonymous interest into qualified prospects.

· Support geographic targeting strategies to enable expansion across priority regional and national markets.

· Oversee paid, organic, partner-led, and community-driven initiatives while ensuring consistency with centrexIT’s people-first brand.


Productization, AI Initiatives & Go-to-Market Support

· Contribute directly to productization efforts by helping translate market demand, client feedback, competitive insight, and campaign performance into clearer service packaging, positioning, and go-to-market readiness.

· Support the development and launch of new or refined services, bundles, offers, AI-enabled initiatives, and campaign concepts by creating messaging, launch content, internal enablement materials, landing pages, nurture sequences, and promotional plans.

· Work with Productization, Leadership, Sales, and Client Success to ensure new offerings are market-relevant, clearly communicated, and aligned with centrexIT’s strategic priorities and ICP.

· Help identify opportunities where AI, automation, and other initiatives can strengthen market differentiation, improve client value, and support repeatable growth.


HubSpot Ownership, Analytics & Marketing Performance

· Own and operate HubSpot as the primary marketing platform, including: 

o Lead capture, scoring, and routing

o Form creation, form fills, and lifecycle stages

o Campaign tracking and attribution

o UTM strategy, governance, and reporting

o CMS content updates and landing page management

· Ensure data integrity between HubSpot and Sales/Client Success workflows. 

· Establish and maintain dashboards and reporting cadences that communicate performance to Leadership. 

· Track ROI across campaigns, content, AI workflows, and partner efforts; use insights to refine targeting, messaging, and investment decisions.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

· Work closely with Client Success, Sales, Productization, Operations, Leadership, and external partners to ensure centrexIT’s messaging reflects both how the market perceives the company and how the company intends to grow.

· Act as a strategic advisor on growth strategy, geographic expansion, positioning, and go-to-market alignment.

· Lead with accountability, transparency, and a people-first mindset rooted in C.L.A.S.S.

· Builds and manages lifecycle marketing programs that improve client engagement, retention, expansion readiness, and overall lifetime value.

· Design and run repeatable workflows using AI agents (with human oversight) to increase throughput, accuracy, and time-to-market—reducing reliance on traditional agencies without sacrificing quality.

· Build trusted awareness by engaging community forums (e.g., Reddit, YouTube, etc.), webinars, podcasts, and peer communities with transparency and education, and translate community insights into content, SEO/AIO/AEO, and sales enablement.

· Contributes directly to productization, AI initiatives, and go-to-market readiness through market-informed messaging, launch support, and feedback loops.

· Helps refine and operationalize the Ideal Client Profile using campaign data, market feedback, and cross-functional collaboration.

· Ensure the website remains reliable, secure, editable on demand, and supports campaigns with rapid splash/landing page creation and retirement—collaborating with partners and AI-agents to achieve five-nines (99.999%) uptime.

· Maintains timely, accurate, and relevant internal and external communications that keep employees and clients well informed.

· Maintain hands-on ownership of HubSpot (lead capture/routing, forms, CMS, UTMs, attribution, reporting), ensuring clean data, clear lifecycle stages, and decision-grade visibility for Sales, Client Success, and Leadership.

· Expand top-of-funnel discovery and convert anonymous interest into qualified prospects—prioritizing signal quality (sales acceptance and progression) over raw lead counts.

· Report transparently on outcomes (pipeline/revenue influence, trust signals, AI efficiency gains, and infrastructure reliability), uphold brand-safety and disclosure standards, and sunset initiatives that do not meet company goals.

Requirements

 Required

· 10+ years of B2B marketing experience with end to end ownership.

· Strong experience designing and operating marketing systems powered by AI, automation, and modern tooling.

· Proven, hands on experience with HubSpot (lead generation, CMS, UTMs, forms, attribution, reporting).

· Experience partnering closely with Sales and Client Success across the full customer lifecycle.

· Demonstrated ability to manage websites, campaign landing pages, and digital infrastructure in collaboration with partners.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred

· Background in MSP, IT services, cybersecurity, SaaS, or similar technical environments.

· Experience with community led and intent based marketing.

· Familiarity with uptime, availability, and security concepts as applied to digital marketing infrastructure.
