Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Labels & Packaging Sales Representative with an established network of customers and industry contacts within the cosmetics, beauty, personal care, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cannabis, and consumer packaged goods industries.
This is not an entry-level sales position.
We are specifically looking for an experienced salesperson who understands the pressure-sensitive label and packaging industry and has existing relationships with companies that regularly purchase custom labels, product labels, packaging labels, variable-data labels, specialty labels, and related packaging products.
The ideal candidate has a proven history of developing and managing B2B accounts and established relationships with decision-makers responsible for labels and packaging, including purchasing managers, packaging engineers, operations managers, brand owners, production managers, supply-chain professionals, contract manufacturers, co-packers, and other packaging buyers.
The primary objective of this position is to develop new business, bring qualified opportunities into the company, grow existing accounts, and build long-term customer relationships.

Primary Responsibilities
- Generate new business within targeted industries.
- Leverage an existing professional network to identify label and packaging opportunities.
- Prospect and develop new accounts.
- Contact purchasing managers, packaging engineers, operations managers, brand managers, owners, and other decision-makers.
- Develop relationships with contract manufacturers, co-packers, private-label manufacturers, and other companies that influence packaging purchasing decisions.
- Identify customers currently purchasing labels from competitors and develop opportunities to earn their business.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, facility visits, and product consultations.
- Identify customer requirements including materials, adhesives, finishes, quantities, applications, compliance requirements, and production schedules.
- Work with estimating and production teams to prepare quotes and recommend appropriate label constructions.
- Obtain samples and specifications for competitive label opportunities.
- Manage quotes and follow up aggressively until opportunities are won or closed.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Develop both transactional and long-term contractual business.
- Grow existing accounts through additional products, applications, locations, and divisions.
- Attend relevant industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunities, follow-ups, and forecasts.
- Consistently achieve sales, gross-profit, and new-account targets.
Existing Industry Network
A major qualification for this position is an existing network within industries that regularly purchase custom labels and packaging.

Candidates with an existing book of relationships and the ability to quickly generate qualified opportunities will receive strong consideration.
Required Experience
- Previous B2B sales experience in labels, flexible packaging, folding cartons, commercial printing, packaging, or a closely related industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of pressure-sensitive labels and packaging.
- Proven ability to develop new accounts.
- Experience managing large B2B customers and complex sales opportunities.
- Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand technical product specifications and communicate solutions to customers.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to manage opportunities from initial contact through quoting, sampling, production, and ongoing account management.
- Comfortable working independently and being accountable for measurable sales results.
