Position Summary 

Responsible for supporting operations, and counseling staff in day-to-day operations. Works as a team member and works collaboratively in providing quality treatment services and client care. 


Schedule/Hours/Location:

  1. Part Time - 1st Shift - Sunday and Monday - 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Pawtucket (1 Opening)
  2. Part Time - 2nd Shift - Sunday and Monday - 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. - Pawtucket (1 Opening)
  3. Per Diem Position - All locations - Exeter, North Kingstown, Pawtucket (2 Openings)

 

Tasks / Responsibilities (To include, but not limited to):

  •  Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols 
  • Transports clients safely to various doctor appointments and off-site meetings, if cleared to drive.
  • Types and performs data entry as needed for communication purposes.
  • Organizes and uploads documents to client files. (if applicable)
  • Conforms to all necessary quality assurance standards as well as all infection control protocols.
  • Drug tests clients according to Testing procedures and timelines.
  • Greets scheduled visitors and coordinates to the appropriate area or person.
  • Follows up with chore checks, helps clients comply with contracts, and communicates to clinical any issues.
  • Organizes cleaning supplies and materials.
  • Makes copies of printed materials as needed.
  • Follows Medication Observation policy. 
  • Performs all necessary documentation regarding clients (i.e.: 30 minute/1 hour rounds, vitals or COWS/CIWA, group sessions) 
  • Inspects vehicles upon shift change with a previous Treatment Tech member, if applicable.
  • Complete admit intakes and gather any information needed.
  • Is able to audit face-to-face rounds, if applicable.

Competencies

To perform the   job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.

· Medication Observation- The individual has a full understanding of the Medication Observation procedure and demonstrates the ability to carry out duties as assigned.

· Quality management—the individual looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in regard to EMR Documentation, Infection Control, and Waived Testing.

· Documentation- the individual is able to navigate the EMR with ease. They have a core understanding of how the program runs, what’s important, and what needs to be documented at what intervals.

· Time Management—the individual prioritizes and plans efficiently, developing a realistic action plan in regard to their duties.

· Safety and security—the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.

· Transportation- Individual displays the ability to safely transport clients to appointments as needed.

· Physical Demands – the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk; the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

· Exposure to clients infected with Hepatitis B, HIV, TB, or other Infectious Diseases

 

Preferred Experience/ Minimum Qualifications 

 Preferred experience requirements may be satisfied through professional experience as determined by Human Resources at the time of hiring. 

  • Education / Experience
    • High school diploma or GED preferred
    • Must pass mandatory pre-employment screenings, check, and tests.
  • Certificates and Licenses
    • Has CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Knowledge
    • Have or be able to be taught an acute understanding of counseling and other treatment procedures for alcoholism and drug and addiction-related problems.
    • Have or be able to be taught knowledge of regulations concerning alcoholism and drug addiction treatment.
    • Have or be able to be taught knowledge of alcoholism and drug addiction and treatment procedures for such illnesses.

  

Minimum of 3 years of lived experience with substance use and/or mental health disorders for self, family member, or loved one, and the ability to appropriately share experience with clients. Someone who views clients’ needs with a high priority and who would be a strong advocate for them with other treatment providers. Someone who espouses a strong desire to help others.

Salary Description
$17.00 - $18.50
